# Jim Birch

## Hi, I'm Jim.
I build *useful things.*

I'm an engineering leader and an Airbnb Superhost. Two different things, both about making something work better for real people.

A little about me

## Engineer by trade, *Cape Codder* at heart.

For two decades I've built websites and systems for organizations large and small, always with the same goal: bridging the gap between technical work and the real business goals behind it. That's the throughline of my career.

When I'm off the keyboard, you'll find me shellfishing, making pizza and pasta by hand, or walking the beach.
